At Brighton Housing Trust’s Whitehawk Inn, the Routes Career Placement Programme is available for adults of all ages, to help you gain experience that will help you find work.
We build relationships with local employers to create work placement opportunities for people who live in Brighton and Hove. Whitehawk Inn can help you get a placement.
If you join the Routes Career Placement Programme, you'll attend your placement with a local employer weekly for around 12 weeks. It will bring together pre-work preparation, and temporary work placements with on-the-job training to give you a range of work-related skills and valuable practical experience of being in a workplace.
You will work alongside our friendly, experienced staff and focus on developing your customer service skills, as well as learning how to use a variety of IT packages.
